Our Cartridges All of our purifiers have a four stage washable ceramic cartridge which features ultra carbon, is silver impregnated, and has a carbon block + metallic media core. This Ceramic Filter is certified by NSF and the WHO. Stages of Filtration: First stage: The first stage consists of porcelain ceramic which provides genuine sub-micron filtration. The cartridge reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity down to 0.3 microns. Second stage: The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilizing properties, preventing the growth of bacteria. Large bottles and multi-packs heavy and inconvenient to carry No disinfecting agent (Chlorine) to prevent bacteria build-up during storage, which is usually months or years. (check expiry date) Prolonged storage leads to leeching of trace toxic chemicals from the bottle into the water. (Phtylate, Bisphenol A and Vinyl Chloride). SMALL PITCHER OR FAUCET MOUNTED FILTERS

REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION SYSTEM
Does not kill or remove all bacteria. Produces pure water that is flat and tasteless. Removes all the vital natural healthy minerals. (Read more about this here) Wastes up to 8 gallons to produce 1 gallon of purified water. Very slow process, taking hours for one glass of water. Holding tank is subject to bacteria contamination. Chlorine and hot water adversely affect the RO membrane. The RO membrane can rupture without indication, allowing unfiltered water through to your stored water. Large and bulky system. Expensive to maintain and susceptible to metal deterioration. High initial capital cost. W.H.O. PROOF THAT R.O. WATER IS BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH UNLESS IT IS REMINERALIZED (BelKraft had an RO system developed for them that put all the natural minerals back into the purified water. This system is ideal for people with salt softeners.)
Removes the Calcium and healthy minerals producing water with a flat taste. Expensive to maintain with high electricity consumption. Holding tank is subject to bacteria contamination. Many pollutants are not removed. Large and bulky system. Typically not effective at removing organic compounds such as pesticides and Trihalomethanes (THMs-known carcinogen). High initial capital cost. Distilled water is energetically
dead. Calcium helps to reduce risk of osteoporosis, high blood pressure as well as colon and rectal cancers. Treated water devoid of calcium and natural minerals acts as an active absorber. It will increase body acidity, the risk of osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, hypothyroidism, coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, premature aging and cardiovascular disease.
You won't find anything about the benefits of alkaline water in any standard textbook on nutritional biochemistry, and anyone with training in physiology or biochemistry would consider the claims in favor of it ludicrous, but the alkaline/ionized water quacksters and scammers have woven a nexus of scientific-sounding nonsense and outright lies in order to convince a gullible and scientifically-naïve public that drinking partially electrolyzed water (produced by their over-priced "machines") is the key to health. Magnets, enhanced oxygen content, vibrations, pi-particles and acid/alkaline balance There is no scientific basis for claims that these waters are significantly different from ordinary filtered drinking water, or that they confer any special health benefits. No evidence is offered to suggest that these devices are any more useful than an ordinary filter-equipped water pitcher. The claims relating to magnets, enhanced oxygen content, vibrations, pi-particles and acid/alkaline balance are scientifically absurd.
GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS
Will not remove harmful bacteria or heavy metals from the water. Does not require holding tank, but filter can become a breeding ground for bacteria, requiring regular filter replacement. Most units are sealed and not cleanable (No replaceable cartridge). Granular carbon permits water under pressure to forge channels through the granular carbon allowing unfiltered water through. No pre-filter to prevent premature clogging of the filter.
